It's been some time since I've updated this page. There have been some changes in our lives. On November 15, 2006, we lost
our beloved baby, Susie...she was a little more than 13 years old, had developed tumors, and was having difficulty eating...we
had to let her go, which was one of the most difficult things we'd ever done. We can be eased somewhat by knowing she had
a wonderful life with us, and we'll always miss her!
Other than that sad news, our lives are wonderful. I've changed jobs, working part-time at a new flower shop, Nature's
Gardens, and enjoying the fantastic people there. Richard is still at Wally World doing a great job.
I finally gave up my old '96 Lumina (she needed a new radiator and I just couldn't see putting $500 into an 11-year-old
car) and got a an '07 Toyota Yaris. It's unbelievable the amount of interior space in such a small car...and I'm NOT a small
guy! I'm not complaining about the 34 mpg I'm getting, either!
Guess that's about all the changes to report. Will chime in with more when something exciting happens!
